I've spent most of my life fearing failure as if it were a permanent mark on your record. Oh, I'd better not try that or I'll fail and make a fool out of myself. I now know there is no one so foolish as the person who dreams of doing great things and has the talent, but will not try. I know a man on disability who has the brilliance and talent to be truly great in any number of professions. He used all that talent to game the system for a few hundred dollars a month. Do you think he robbed the taxpayers? I think he robbed himself. What is it that you dream of? What would you do if you knew you could not fail? That's what you should be doing. That's what I'm doing now.
I have a new attitude about failure. That's what teaches you what you need to change and what gives you the strength to succeed. No one succeeds without failing. I can't tell you how many times I've tried and failed at building a web income that supports me. With every failure I'm getting closer to the goal. I now embrace failure as one of my closest, most honest friends. That's because...
The surest way to fail is by avoiding failure.
