Acts 8:34-36 King James Version (KJV)
34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?
35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

Acts 8:34-36 Amplified Bible (AMP)

34 The eunuch replied to Philip, “Please tell me, about whom does the prophet say this? About himself or about someone else?” 35 Then Philip spoke and beginning with this Scripture he preached Jesus to him [explaining that He is the promised Messiah and the source of salvation]. 36 As they continued along the road, they came to some water; and the eunuch exclaimed, “Look! Water! What forbids me from being baptized?”

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

34 So he asked more questions trying to seek and dig into scripture this shows his thirst to learn about Jesus. The prophet often spoke two different ways a soon fulfillment and then also a later thru Jesus.

35 So Philip preaches Jesus, he saw opportunity and used it for the Lord; this is why Philip was brought here by the Spirit. We should always preach Jesus.

36 Water may have not been as common in the wilderness. The eunuch understood the importance of being baptized to claim his walk with the Lord.
