Ever met a cliché Christian? That's someone who can spout a slogan on any subject. "God loves you and so do I." "God is good-all the time." "The truth will set you free." Etc. Etc. Etc. Now, I'm not talking about the ones who originated those kinds of phrases after much prayer and inspiration. I'm talking about the mindless repeating of the phrases by those who clearly don't understand them or apply God's Truth to their lives. It's so frustrating, because, after 2 decades of study and commitment to God, I can see just how deep and applicable and fulfilling a thing God's truth is in our lives. But, these ambassadors of emptiness are out there spewing nothings and calling it God.
It's this persistent cliché Christianity on the part of church members and ministers, alike, that finally convinced me I should listen to see if God wants to do something outside of churches. For me, there were just too many people inside the Christian establishment who were willing to accept a form of Godliness but not live in the truth and power of the real God. So, here we are, doing our best to live the truth and lead others to do the same. Because, unless you're willing to live the truth, you'll never know the truth.
