I have 30 + years of experience with dogs and cats, and can't imagine family life without them. My husband and I currently have 4 dogs -- 2 Labrador Retrievers and 2 Yorkshire Terrier Mixes -- and 2 cats.

We have 2 grandsons (1 is 14 yo and 1 is 6 mos) and 3 granddaughters (10, 13 and 8). We live 600 miles away from them, and miss them terribly.

I'm an avid reader who enjoys different genres.

I love all kinds of handmade crafting. Right now, I mostly knit, crochet, and am trying to get organized to start scrapbooking.

We had a cat we named "Gut" because when she was small she'd eat so much she would have a big belly. We had her for 17 years until our house burned to the basement and she died in the fire.
