Numbers 16:19-26 King James Version (KJV)
19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.
20 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?
23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of their's, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.

Numbers 16:19-26Amplified Bible (AMP)
19 Then Korah assembled all the congregation against Moses and Aaron before the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the congregation.
20 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin and will You be angry with all the congregation?
23 And the Lord said to Moses,
24 Say to the congregation, Get away from around the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
25 Then Moses rose up and went to Dathan and Abiram, and the elders of Israel followed him.
26 And he said to the congregation, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

19 Korah continues to cause trouble even after the Lord had Moses tell them how He was going to do things they turn the people in their favor, there are people who will try to lead us to the paths God does not want us even though what they say may seem good they are not good, if they are doing anything that is not of the Lord’s will.

20 God was speaking to Moses, He did not spoke to Korah, Moses was the one God chose, if God had decided Korah’s time had come, He would have started to talk to Korah.

21 God was going to get rid of these people; He warned those who were following Him, Moses and Aaron. God gives His people warning but Korah was warned before, they were just rebels against God. We as Christians are to separate from the world not to be as the world and to move with God not of the world. There has to be division a division between the righteous through Christ and the sinful of the world. Moses was of God and Korah was of the world.

22 Moses was suggesting that God just get rid of the leaders of the rebellion and not all those who fell for their lies, those that followed the crowd. This is one of the reasons Moses was a good leader, he cared for those he lead, Korah only cared for Korah and was going to lead these people to be destroyed.

23 Again the Lord speaks to Moses, not to Korah. God speaks to those who are His, sometimes it is thru His word sometimes thru those He has called and sometimes thru His Spirit on our hearts, it is important to know if it is the Lord speaking or just something we want, Korah wanted to be leader but even if he thought the Lord put it on his heart, the Lord chose Moses and the Word does go against the Lord but is of the Lord so they have to be in agreement.

24 Moses was allowed by God to give warning to the people that to leave because of the destruction coming, we see later with the numbers that died many ignored the warning, they were by refusing Moses were refusing what God wanted from them.

25 Some went away with Moses; they were spared because of Moses caring for them and the Lord showing them mercy by giving them a second chance to turn.

26 Moses warned the people, sins destroy, we all can fall a victim to sin but Christ is are only hope, He men to warn us.
