Acts 5:7-11 King James Version (KJV)
7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

Acts 5:7-11 Amplified Bible (AMP)

7 Now after an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not having learned of what had happened.
8 And Peter said to her, Tell me, did you sell the land for so much? Yes, she said, for so much.
9 Then Peter said to her, How could you two have agreed and conspired together to try to deceive the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! The feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out [also].
10 And instantly she fell down at his feet and died; and the young men entering found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.
11 And the whole church and all others who heard of these things were appalled [great awe and strange terror and dread seized them].

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

7 For his wife not to know what happened show that someone was distracted whether her or the people, she should have known by the time they were buried her husband but they did not.

8 She knew as well and she was just as guilty as her husband. They both made the oath and both were responsible for keeping it.

9 Peter knew that she would die too, she could have chosen to bring the rest of the money after her husband died but she choose just like her husband to keep a part of it even though they had promised it to the Lord.

10 They buried her as well next to her husband, she was given more time this may because she did what her husband said and after his death she was given time to make things right herself but she would not choose to.

11 A fear came when her husband died this may have been worse since this was the second time that day it had happened, trouble often times is worse so when it happens within a close time frame. Often times it takes multiple things at once to bring us to fear or cause us to worry or break but when we do the Lord is always there for us.
