Good Evening, I can't help but know that it is God working in my life that I happened upon this site this evening. I am a mother of three young men, Nick 24, DJay 19 and Bryer 17. I had been in recovery for 5+ years when I relapsed by attempting suicide on November 1st, 2008. I have been sober since that time. I am requesting that you pray for my son Nicholas. He is active in his disease of alcholism and addiction. While I had begun the practice of turning my life and my boys life over to God and his will, asking each evening that God would keep them in his care, my oldest son Nicholas' life began to spiral out of control. I simply could not bare the fear, anxiety and pain watching my son destroy himself and felt so powerless. While I am not sure what to ask, I hope that you will keep him in your prayers. While it may be selfish to request a prayer for one's self, I am requesting that you pray for me as well so that I might be there for whatever God has in store for me.

I to have a 24 year old daughter who is addicted to drugs and alcohol. Shortly after posting a prayer request and deeply praying salvation for my daughter and keeping an image of Jesus being with my daughter daily, I am proud to say that her spirit is uneasy. She is fighting a spiritual battle and realizing that she needs help. She has attended 2 meetings on her own and has admitted she needs help. This is the first step. God is working. I know in my heart that this is the year that Michele will be set free. It has been 10 long years that the spirit of drugs and alcohol have controlled her. God is bathing her in the light of purity while Jesus walks daily by her side. She is being awakened to Gods presence.

Yes! remember that always-that out of darkness I am leading you to light. Out of unrest to rest, out of disorder to order. Out of faults and failure to perfection.
So trust Me wholly. Fear nothing. Hope ever. Look ever up to Me and I will be your sure aid.
I and My Father are One. So He who made the ordered, beautiful world out of chaos, and set the stars in their courses, and made each plant to know its season, can He not bring out of your little chaos peace and order?
And he and I are One, and you are Mine. Your affairs are Mine. It is My Divine Task to order My affairs---therefore yours will be ordered by Me.
