Physical Difficulties Causing Me Stress I Need Prayer Options

Hi --

I just know it would help my emotions that want to spin out of control
to ask for prayer, that I would have God's Wisdom on what course of
actions I am to take regarding medications and nutritional aids..

Due to what I am going through physically, the loss of my hair..
As a woman I am dealing with the feelings of being inadequate.
I've never been confident in my appearance and
with what's happening that's really coming to the surface.
I do console myself that it's only skin deep,, but the deep underlying issues
of never being ''good enough'' are coming up..

I know I've neglected this body, while I never have done drugs or even drank
I've abused carbohydrates to the point that I've not been properly nourishing
myself and it's come to a head. I am not lamenting the sound advice that I
just didn't take, oh oh.. It's done and I can't undo it ,, and I've finally had to
come face to face with the reality of the long term health affects..
It's hitting me where I can't deny it and it hurts, the top of my head.. lol..

I just need God's Guidance to make the accurate
choices with the information that I've been given.
He has always been faithful to keep me and I know I need
the faith to get through this..
I know in my heart that this is a ''cleansing'' of sorts, for lack of a better term.
Getting out all the junk and putting in the good stuff.. I've been doing that spiritually
and socially through out my walk with Him and now it's time for a physical change
to be manifested in the way that I eat and take care of this form which
He calls His Temple..

I thank you for sending up prayers on this matter,
and I just right now want to thank God for all He's done for me
and what He's doing in my body -- healing me from the inside out --
may I have a good report to share in the time ahead over what
The Lords Has done..

I can tell you this from my personal experience with a serious health issue over the summer. I went to the Lord, in prayer, to ask Him to help me with a problem related to a bad diet. I know God always hears our prayers and answers them, so I was confident if I DID MY PART, He would do His. The problem was resolved after 5 weeks of my following a healthy diet and His intervention.

Learn all you can about your condition, and what YOU can do to turn it around, and ask God to give you the strength to follow through. I wish I could tell you how easy it will be; it probably won't be, but God will help you if you let Him. I believe in God's promises regarding healing us from our sicknesses, but when conditions arise from our own sinful nature -- like not taking care of ourselves -- I also believe He expects us change our behavior. The healing will come, but it won't be a miraculous, poof it's gone, type of thing.

I'll will pray the Lord gives you the wisdom, peace, comfort and strength to do what you need to do.

I'm going to say Amen to Blessedbee's prayer.

Sounds like you have some combination of a hormone imbalance and a low intake of good protein. - but I don't know.

There are doctors out there who specialize in nutrition, I would look into that.
