Hi, as everyone that checks this everyday knows ive been battleing with medical problems and anxiety. well, now ive been tossed into this depression cause im becoming desolate and afflicted. (lonely and suffering). i know that this depression is coming from the enemy but im having a hard time shaking it. all my friends were not right friends and now i that i am saved i only have my girlfriend in which i do not see very often. please pray for me that i meet new/good people and that the devil does not keep me in this state of depression. thank you all very much for your prayers and may god bless you all

Could it be you are depending too much on associations for moral support? Most of my life I have been pretty much a loner - so I am perfectly at peace with being alone. I like going for walks in the woods alone, driving a car alone even on trips of hundreds of miles. I don't even like having the radio on. I like peace and quiet. I like hearing the katydids, the tree frogs, and birds. Just God and me.

It's all in the way one looks at things, Kevin. If you make friends the center of your life, you have no life when they're not around.

You are in desperate need of new friends. The best place to make new friends is at Church. When you are reborn in Christ, this the time the Devil will attack you the most. You need all the support you can get. I felt getting more involved in my Church, joining support groups really helped me. You need people that you can discuss your fears with. People to support you and give you advice.

I will pray for you and pray that God will bring the right people across your road. Keep the faith, and Semi is right. Find peace with yourself. Do not depend on other people to make you happy. You have to make yourself happy first. Be still and listnen to God talk.
