Even if just one person prays for me that would be great. I have such a weird problem that I know I'm not alone in but I can just get so depressed some times and I just resort to food. Pray that I would allow to accept the freedom that Christ has already given me. That I would be able to go to him in order to keep myself from binging. Sometimes I'll go weeks and weeks without binging and then I will get really emotional and depressed from something and I'll completely collapse. I would love prayer so much!!!! Thank you!

We all do that at times. I have always eaten in cycles until I tire of whatever it is I have craving for. I suppose it's alright as long as the thing we're eating is not overly harmful.

Couple of things: keep celery and radishes around, maybe raw cauliflower; to munch on when you feel like eating. Also drink a glass of water before you eat. The water will suppress your appetite so you don't eat as much.

Also, don't buy Potato Chips, Fritos, Doritos, Cheez-Nips, etc and especially; candy, donuts, cookies, and snack cakes. If those things are not within easy reach, you won't reach for them.

May the Lord give you the wisdom and strength to make the right choices, In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Shalom.

Hello anon,,,

I am very well acquainted with this as food is my ''medicinal therapy'' of choice and always
has been.

I will pray for you
I do relate, you are far from being the only person that lives with this!!!

I also want to encourage you that God's Timing in all things is perfect,
believe what He says about you is the truth and disqualify the worlds perceptions of beauty and
attractiveness, be separated in your thinking.
Chew on His Word consistantly, no matter what else your eating or what else is going on and with time
you will be transformed and that always leads to wiser choices in eating and in life.

It's not easy to measure long term changes, but
slow progressive changes a far more like to endure the testing of time..

prayerfully dani

Just A Note: Don't weigh your progress with a bathroom scale, because that's not saying anything
about who you are to God and what you are becoming : )
