I'm no scholar, but what I do know is that baptism is only a symbolic ritual, it's not necessary to go to Heaven. And even in the Catholic faith, from what I understand, they say you go through Purgatory or something, but you soon go to Heaven afterword, so you have nothing to worry. Even so, try and get baptized anyway. It's a public showing of your faith either way, and the Lord will certainly be happy.

Teri

This may seem quite simple, but God hasn't made
the way of salvation obscured, it's all clearly written about In The Bible..

According to God's Word (The Bible)

If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord,"
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
(romans 10:9)

there is no better place to learn about God
and all things that pertain to the unseen spiritual realm
than His Word (The Bible)

Salvation of the soul is through believing in Christ Jesus,
you will learn in The Bible that there is no other way given
under heaven that a person can come to God the Father.
It's not through baptism or church membership or any other
thing, that may be good deeds & works to do.
Upon researching the word of God
for oneself, actually looking into a Bible to find out where God has
said something that you've heard is wise. There are many unfounded
ideas about the unseen spiritual realm and God desires us to know the truth,
thats why He gave us His Word, in order that we could commune with Him
and know Him personally and not just through other people.

by the way There is no mention of pergatory in the Bible,
beware of accepting just any concept or idea -- if it's not in the scriptures
you aren't obligated to agree with it, if it goes so far as to contradict what
is written then it's not from God, and it will lead those who believe it away
from The Truth - into confusion.. I pray that God will light your path by the
Truth of HIS WORD ..

while the Bible maybe ''difficult'' to get into or understand,
The Truth is that it's a GREAT GIFT and I pray that you will
have a heart to do the research for yourself and come to
have a personal relationship with the one that created you to love..

lovingly dani'elle
