After being married for 19 years and being stupid (un christ like) during most of it we are separated again. But this time I truly turned to God to deal with my sin. I was not "truly" caring about my marriage or family but God has given me a heart for my wife and kids after pleading with Him for months for forgiveness and change!! Now I plead with God to give me an opportunity to love my wife as Christ loved the church and what that might mean in the power of His Spirit now - not my small changes I was trying to make in years of counseling. My family is quit hurt and bitter with me for good reason but I can't but hope that God changed my heart for a reason - to redeem us and not to give way to the enemy even one more time!! Lord as I have prayed so many times - please change me - redeem our marriage and restore the family - In his name - amen
